(B&S in San Marco's Square, Venice Italy)
ab so I'll survive. We're (mostly me) excited for Brett's job. I joke and say it's about time for me to retire now but we'll just see what the future has to hold.
I'm still working on the mice in my silly little lab. We have 4 med students that are working with us this summer so it's made my days less h
ectic. I'm currently working on growing a stock of cells infected with the virus so I can test the bazillion samples we've got doing various PCR, ELISA, and other random lab things. It's awesome to learn how to do these things I always read about in my books (and never seemed to really unde
rstand). It's a great experience but I've decided that lab research will not be my forever career. It's cool because I'm retiring soon anyway :).
