These last 9 months have brought our family a ton of highs along with a few huge lows. Last weekend we said goodbye to our very special Uncle Wayne who ended his almost ten year battle towards kidney cancer. Uncle Wayne was an amazing man, someone I feel extremely grateful and honored to have been able to get to know so well.
It seems unfair that we lost both Brett's mom last fall and his uncle last week when they were still so young. I feel extremely blessed and am comforted during times like these to know that death is not the end, just a different chapter to life. I am grateful to know that our Savior, Jesus Christ, died for us in order to provide a way to return to our Heavenly Father. Both Wayne and Debbie were amazing, loving individuals. They will forever be remembered.
