Status update:

Brett and I flew from Lima, Peru to Houston Texas (6 1/2 hours), Houston to SLC (3 1/2 hours), SLC to Seattle (3 hours) Seattle to Fairbanks (4 hours) in the last however many hours that takes. Remember there were layovers in each of those stops ranging from 2-7 hours in length.

We haven't showered, brushed our teeth, or done any other hygienic thing on this trip as of yet and we're LOVING it! Highlights so far:

* our Peruvian stomachs handling the 1st world food again and all it's richness...

* seeing Brett's family for 5 hours before we had to jump on a plane again

* Red Robin- I love you, thank you for your bottomless fries

* seeing my sisters (Julia and Mindi)

* sleeping on the benches of the Fairbanks, Alaska waiting for our camping gear to arrive (which still hasn't...hence me having time to write this)

* NOT running...next week's going to be hard for the training!

* BEING BACK IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND SEEING OUR FAMILY!!!

I love Peru and the experience we're getting but it's SO great to be back home!
