"You SO Spoiled!"

The title of this blog is a quote from my friend and co-worker, Xiao Tang. She and I spend a lot of time talking about life, families, hobbies, politics, and religion while we sit over our growing cell cultures. Just this week when I was talking about Brett's new job (which we will expound in a later post) she exclaimed, "You husband is handsome AND smart! You so spoiled!!" Yes, I will admit to that, I am spoiled rotten... I do not know how I deserved this but Brett sure does like to spoil me, and I like it!

Ever since my sisters and I were little girls we watched enviously as my dad would surprise my mom with random pieces of jewelry. If any of you know Pappy J, he does not like to skimp when it comes to decorating Mammy with some of the most unique, beautiful items. One thing that I've always noticed is the beautiful different array of jewelry boxes Mammy has collected over the years from all the jewelry stores Pappy visited. Now that Brett and I are in St. Louis it just turns out that Brett has found one of the jewelry stores I KNOW Pappy has been to just by looking at the jewelry box he gave me for Easter!
And of course I didn't just get a box, I also received some beautiful gold hoops to replace my old pair that I sadly lost almost 2 years ago when Brett and I were dating...
I am spoiled rotten...Brett is amazing.
