Tour de Brett

With Steph out of town for a few days in Oklahoma City I've been biking with my spare time. We recently did the Tour de Cape, a half century, and now plan to end the biking season with the Tour de Shawnee, a century ride. I took a few pictures of one of our favorites routes as we continue to train.

Beautiful Whispering Hills, the area where we live. Tennis courts, a lap pool, work out facilities, and a few crazy neighbors. Who could ask for a better place to live.

Creve Coeur State Park, 10 miles of paved biking and running trails. Just watch out for the roller bladers.

The Great Missouri River. If this doesn't get you excited, we'll take you a few miles east to the Mississippi.

More of Creve Coeur State Park.

The Forbidden Katy Trail, 250 miles of biking terrain starting in St. Louis and ending in Kansas City. The trail is an old train line that runs along the Missouri River. I say forbidden because only 50 feet of it is paved. I may just have to borrow Sid's mountain bike.

Our favorite restaurant we've never been to. We seriously do plan on eating here someday.
