Life has been a little busy as of late, but I wanted to be sure to add some photos of our newest edition to the family. It's hard to believe it has already been three months since our little man has joined the family. He has proven to be such a sweet, easy little baby. Easy to fall in love with. Up to now Nicholas has figured out how to charm others by smiling at you, cooing and making the infamous "un-gooh" sounds all babies seem to make. He even makes the unique gurgling noises Eleanor made (and still sometimes makes) as a baby. Nicholas is already sitting upright with the aid of adult supervision of course. He weighed a whopping 15 lbs 10 oz at his 2 month check up and was 24 inches long. He grew 6 lbs in one month! No wonder I felt like an never ending feeding trough! Although it took a little getting used to, Eleanor has now determined that Nicholas is "her baby" and continues to remind us of that fact frequently. Eleanor has stepped up to the role of big sister quite well by smothering Nicholas with blankets, trying to hold him all by herself, and by helping change his diapers by throw away the dirty ones in the trash. Life is wonderful for us! Brett started his second year of dental school and continues to love every minute of it. I have caught my groove being a mother of two, and the kids are wonderful. We couldn't ask for anything more. Enjoy the pictures, there are too many to comment on but I believe each one tells their own story.

6 lbs in a month! That is impressive- for the both of you. Love the blow-out shot. A definite part of life with an infant.
