I have been thinking over the last couple of days about my wife, more specifically reasons why I love my wife. Actually, she told me I should write a post and call it, "Reasons I love my wife". And since I love my wife so very much, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to let her know, through our blog of course.
I love my wife because...
1. She is not afraid to cook new and interesting meals each night.
2. She is always watching out for my physical health. She has recently found a marathon in Arkansas for us to run in November, and I can't think of a better way to stay in shape.
3. She is not afraid to drive in Lima. Lima drivers are insane. They drive down the middle of the lane, make right hand turns from the far left lane, never signal, and many of them drive drunk.
4. She spends time talking with me only in Spanish. I know it is extremely hard for her to speak only Spanish for 30 minutes straight, but she has learned so much over the last two months and her accent is sounding more authentic each day.
5. She likes sheets with high a thread count (You will have to ask Steph about this one).
6. She isn't afraid to try strange foods. She probably doesn't love ME for this reason though. She has had stomach problems on 3 separate occasions here in Lima.
7. She likes to spend time with our older friends. We've become friends with many of the senior missionary couples. We always enjoy attending family home evenings and lunches when we are invited. Actually, I was thinking about organizing a basketball tournament and I can see Brother Ramirez and myself dominating the other senior missionaries.
So above are 7 reasons why I love my wife and though there are many more reasons to love Steph, these are the few that came to my mind in the last few minutes. If you enjoyed reading this post, I can assure you that there will be many more in the future. I love you babe!
Aww, how sweet! I can barely get Tom to read our blog... Anyway, I'll have to agree with you Steph about the high thread-count sheets. There's just nothing better.
ReplyDeleteUgh. You are so married. This post gave me diabetes.
