Traditions...

Most people love to hit the malls on "Black Friday"; our family likes to head out to the Liljenquist/Carrol property for horsebackriding, gun shooting, left-overs, and river playing adventures.
I only posted this picture to show Brett's poof hair and my awesome wardrobe. I rode Daisy-Mae bareback and had wet pants from her sweat...thanks to Merny I changed into her bright red sweats. Stylish.
Pappy training the little guys how to shoot just right.
The soon to be newly-weds! Brett and I got to meet Bekah for the first time this Thanksgiving. It's nice to be on the same continent as the rest of the family...Welcome to the family Bekah! We love you!
Our sweet nephew Bubba-Lou (Noah) finding arrowheads and other treasures down by the river.
Dessert on Thanksgiving Day! Noah expressed his excitement when he saw all the pies and birthday cake and shouted, "this is the best day ever!".
A fraction of the people that were at our home...
Nice job RB snagging a photo of not-so-little-Lou. He even looks like he's smiling for the camera! It was so green and beautiful out here all the way up to Thanksgiving! I think Mother Nature was giving us a small little break from our 18 month spurt of winter...don't worry, it's freezing out here again...sigh...

  1. Isn't it crazy how quickly life can change?? Your mind finally gets settled with something one way and then wham, course changes. I hope the changes end up being good for you guys. Our plans just changed as well and we are heading out of London early and onto Boston. Five moves in 2.5 years...yikes!

  2. You got some great pictures of your Thanksgiving holiday. How fun to be surrounded by family and home. You must have missed your horses.

Sorry about everything that's happening to you guys... What a crazy time! But I'm sure everything will work out nicely. Good luck with the job hunting. Enjoy Missouri while you can!
