On our way to church early in the morning we were rerouted from our normal way due to the Lima Marathon. There were groups of people running with specific clubs I'm assuming or different colored shirts for different paces. There were TONS of runners. I just couldn't help but think about how we're going to be doing that very thing in less than 2 months! Mt. Home, AR marathon, hope you're ready for us!!!
After church we decided to escape the city smog and drive outside of the city, up the Andes a little and to some remote towns just to see the sun for a bit...

All in all, we love taking little Sunday drives in Javier (Gary) and explore the neighboring cities of Lima. Yesterday marked the first day of Spring down here so I'm excited to start seeing the sun a little more where we're living! Bring on the sun!!!
